Preview the MI Earth Day Fest

The MI Earth Day – Preview Party, will be held on Earth Day, Thursday April 22nd, from 7-9pm. Event organizers, dignitaries, community leaders, exhibitors, educators, entertainers, award recipients and sponsors will offer an engaging Earth

Day observance and fast-paced preview of festival activities. Comedian and TV star, Dave Coulier, will keep things lively as emcee.

Scheduled activities include a fashion show, showcasing Michigan’s finest eco-chic fashions in the hottest new spring and summer colors, a silent auction of donated earth-friendly gifts and art, and the first annual MI Earth Day Awards ceremony, honoring Michigan’s eco heroes and green business/organization leaders.

Plenty of time will be provided for enjoying great organic beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres served by Rochester’s very own world-class sustainable restaurant, Mind, Body & Spirits -

Inspired Dining, enjoying the great music of Billy Brandt and Sarana VerLin, rubbing elbows with community and green leaders, and even relaxing with a free massage.

The Preview Party will be held on the event site in a festive party tent behind the Rochester Mills building. Admission is only $25, open to the public and includes organic food and drink. Net proceeds will benefit local green programs.

The Preview Party is located in the large party tent directly behind Rochester Mills Beer Co. restaurant at 400 Water Street, Rochester, 48307, and will start promptly at 7pm. Doors open at 6:45pm tonight (Thu 4/22)!
